This is our place for two nights! Lovely spot at Hawley beach..

Our daughter rang when we got here to say she’d had her 1st car accident and written off the car! Tears where flowing as shock set in..

We left the 3 younger kids with their aunty & younger kids and traveled back to Launceston to meet Nicola in the hospital – another hour in the car..

We picked up nik went to the car yard to check out the car and took Nikki to her grandmothers and finally headed back here to ‘really’ start our 2 day break!

Today started with news that a friend had lost her husband yesterday, just 4 months after she lost her son (we have been thinking about Lisa and her kids all day!). Then Nikki’s accident and all the driving, well we really just need some peace..

This place looks super peaceful! Fingers crossed we have no more unexpected and unwanted events/news for a couple of days!

After a few hours ‘starting’ to clean out the spare room, it’s time to sit, have a glass of wine and ‘love where we live’

The most popular stories were by far the Dr Suess stories.  I recently visited Tash’s Youtube channel and found out that the follow story: Green Eggs and Ham , has been watched 40,601 times since the 22 July 2008..

In my work life this kind of reaction is very exciting – I’m not entirely sure what we should do with this popularity  Any idea please let me know?

One of the things this does point out is that “popularity” is very powerful on the web.  All of the videos with the largest number of views are Dr Suess..  Maybe this is a good Christmas present idea?

P.S. Tash raised over $1000 for the Multiple Sclerosis Association - not bad for an 8 year old!  Proud of her, we are!

I still haven’t recovered from 2 days of gingerbread house constructing, however all the hard work has been worth it!

The kids have not stopped smiling, even the ones who’s roofs caved in are smiling – mind you even a generous sprinkle of icing sugar didn’t hide what appeared to be the result of a major earthquake!

It certainly feels like Christmas around here with lots of gingerbread and lollies! The run to Christmas has started in the frost household and I don’t think anything could stop it now

So here goes: instead of running away from a crap marriage all those years ago, I’d say I was running to a much better one!, instead of saying I was running away from my 99 kilos of baby fat, I’d say I was running into the new healthier me, instead of saying I was running away from things that make me unhappy, I would say I run because it makes me happy…

Now isn’t that a better way to look at life?

So the kids are in bed and Simon is on the phone – “what are you doing honey?” …  Um, setting up my blog, finally!

Maybe its that fact that he has gone away & I’m at a loose end has meant that I am FINALLY doing some writing?  No thats not fair, I’ve just been too busy to ‘make time’..

Have you every noticed how naughty the kids are when their dad is away?  Or is it just me?  Now that I have started on this adventure, writing a blog, I am determined to continue  Ed Dale will be proud of me..

The strange thing is I used to write all the time and I have always thought of myself as a writer, but now I have a place to write about.. what ever  Here I go…
